The American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) is the national trade association for the concrete pavement industry. The ACPA and its network of chapters and state paving associations represent members in marketing/promotion, government affairs and research/technical support associated with concrete pavements used for highways, airports, local streets and roads.

ACPA’s members include paving contractors, cement companies, equipment manufacturers, material
and service suppliers, ready-mixed concrete producers, allied associations/organizations, bonding
and insurance companies, consulting firms and other allied organizations
and individuals.

The Southwest Chapter covers California, Nevada and New Mexico. ACPA is dedicated to the promotion of the superiority of concrete pavements for use in interstate highways, state and county highways, municipal streets, local roads, military facilities and airports.

ACPA members represent all facets
of the concrete pavement industry, including contractors, cement companies, equipment manufacturers, material suppliers, bonding and insurance companies and consulting firms.

ACPA provides resources that assist members in market development, technical expertise, design, specifications, construction and restoration. ACPA works hard to represent and promote the concrete pavement industry in federal, state and local legislative matters affecting surface transportation.

Many of ACPA’s product and service offerings employ the latest technology to put information into the hands of people when they need it most. Currently, the ACPA offers more than 125 catalogued technical or educational products in the form of literature, CD-ROM’s, slide presentations, and other multimedia programs.

The National Association’s website www.pavement.com is said to be one

I-580 in Reno, NVI-580 in Reno, NV.

of the most dynamic in the transportation and construction industries. The website features the equivalent of 20,000 pages of information, interactive programs, illustrations, and other resources to help specifiers and key decision-makers learn more about concrete pavements.
